MUSTANGS
The city of Portsmouth, Virginia has a team that they can call they’re own. Started in 2010 by Portsmouth native Troy Williams, the Portsmouth Mustangs are one of the new teams on the semi-pro football scene in Hampton Roads. In the first season in franchise history the Mustangs made it to the Diamond Football League Championship game. Since then they’ve been on a mission to get back to that level and secure a football championship. The Mustangs compete in fall and summer semi-pro football leagues. They’ve participated in the Diamond Football League, North American Football League, and the East Coast Football Alliance to date. Connect with the Mustangs on Facebook.
